No Download Poker - Java Poker
As technology has grown so have our choices. With some poker sites we
have the choice of downloading the software to our computers or we can
choose to use the “Instant Play” or “No Download” options at select poker sites. This option has been made available to us by poker sites utilizing Java. Because you play through your favorite browser it is compatible with all computer platforms. Yes you can play using your Mac, or Linux-based computer, or Windows. You can practically play wherever you are, friends house, coffee shop, hotel, and even work. If you have a mobile internet connection you can even play when on a long car drive (as long as you are a passenger), while camping out, well you get the point. Now that is convenient.
If you already have an account at one of the poker sites that offer “Instant Play Poker ” you can go to their home page and click on the appropriate button and follow the instructions. At Absolute Poker you simply go to their home page, find the Instant Play button (scroll down to the bottom of their home page), click on the link, you will find yourself at their Instant Play section, hit the Instant Play button, then it loads a small Java based application. When done you sign in to your account and your ready to go. UB has the same instructions as Absolute Poker.
If you find you have issues with the program, or the java poker room doesn’t load, the most common problem is often an outdated plug-in. If this happens to you, you may need to download an updated version of java.
